Sadly we report the passing of John Hudson last Saturday 16 March 2024. John was a Life Member of Leichhardt Rowing Club and an Olympian.  John, with his wife Jenn, had only recently attended the special Morning Tea at the club for Club Patron and great mate Lionel Robberds.  John has been living on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland

2024 NSW State Team Update

Rowing NSW is pleased to announce the confirmation of the 2024 NSW State Team that is set to compete at the Interstate Regatta tomorrow at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith.

2024 NSW Junior Pathways Squad

A morning with Lionel Robberds | Leichhardt Rowing Club

On Saturday, 2nd March at 10.00am, Patron of Leichhardt Rowing Club, Lionel Robberds A.M.Q.C, with his wife Sandra, intends to visit Leichhardt Rowing Club in spite of his ongoing health issues, As a Life Member, Olympian, Australian Representative in dual sports and noted Legal Counsel, there would be a number of friends and former associates who may like to pop in and say hello.

Endeavour Rowing Club Regatta | Call for Entries

ndeavour Rowing Club are hosting their Annual Regatta on the picturesque Hunter in February 2024. It is a colourful and exciting event showcasing the Hunter River and our rowing culture. It is a family friendly, inclusive activity catering from Juniors to masters which nurtures a culture of health, well being, and community spirit.  With the historic town of Morpeth only minutes away you can come and make a day of it. Everyone is welcome to watch the action on the water.  

Shirley Stokes AM | 2024 Australia Day Honours

Congratulations to Shirley Stokes, formerly of Sydney University Boat Club and now of Lower Clarence Amateur Rowing Club on being awarded with a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2024 Australia Day honours list.  Shirley was recognised for "significant service to rowing, and to people with disability".
