For the second time, Australian umpires have been invited to officiate in China at the Xinjin International Universities Rowing Regatta. Phil Fraser and Greg Smith were asked to return for their second regatta in the Sichuan Provence, while Brett Ralph and Bill Webster formed the rest of the international Official team in 2018.Â
The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships. If successful, applicants can receive $500-$750 towards the cost of attending their championships. The grant is an ongoing opportunity, and is available to eligible participants year round.
