Sydney Uni Boat Club - 2018 Winter School Program

Are you a keen school rower in Years 10, 11 or 12 and looking to enjoy your sport and row out of Australia's newest rowing facility and on Sydney's best training water? Sydney University Boat Club's Winter Training Program commences on 24th April and culminates in the Winter School Regatta.

Vale - Chris Woodham

On January 30, 2018, one of St George Rowing Club's most respected members - Christopher Benjamin WOODHAM - passed away at St George Hospital, Kogarah NSW - after a long and difficult illness. He was aged 71 years.

Rowing NSW Small Boats Regatta - Potential for Heat Management Measures

In accordance with the Interim Rowing NSW Heat Management Policy 2018, athletes, coaches, clubs and schools attending the Rowing NSW Small Boats Regatta this Saturday (27th January 2018) are advised that due to the current forecast maximum temperature of 36°C that there is the potential for heat management measures to be implemented.

Pathways Camp #4 - Sydney University Boat Club - Expressions of Interest

NSW Junior Pathway Program – 28 Jan 2018 Training Day 4 - Expressions of Interest The fourth and final training day will be conducted at Sydney University Boat Club, Lindley Point on 28th January 2018. It is open to all Year 10-12 boys and girls who are interested in being part of this program. Their coaches are encouraged to attend and assist with the organisation and coaching on the day.

Vale - Leo MacRae

Leo MacRae, formerly of Penshurst and a former oarsman of both Glebe and Leichhardt Rowing Clubs passed away peacefully in his retirement accommodation at Tweed Heads on 1st January 2018. He was aged 103 years.

Boat Race Official Seminar - Taree Summer Regatta

A Boat Race Official training session will be held on Friday 12th January following the first session of the Taree Summer Regatta. The session will begin about 30 mins after the last race on Friday, upstairs in the Manning River Rowing Club. Greg Smith (International/National accredited BRO) will be presenting, focusing on basic concepts, while also geared towards passing the Level 1 and 2 BRO accreditation processes.
