It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful friend and fellow rower from Drummoyne Rowing Club and member of the DRC Old Rowers Union.

Michael Mccowage passed away last Wednesday morning, 23rd, August 2023.

He was at home with his wife, Rosemary, and son Tom. Michael had been in a number of nursing homes and in recent months had returned home, where he was extremely happy and so well cared for by Rosemary and Tom.

Michael passed away very peacefully and will be sadly missed by all of the Drummoyne rowers who knew him as Michael “ Mighty Mal “ Mccowage.
