Job Opportunity: Rowing NSW Participation Manager

About The Role

The core purpose of the Participation Manager is to grow participation and support RNSW clubs, schools, athletes and coaches to build capability and capacity.  The objective of the role is to ensure long term sustainability of rowing in NSW by focusing on supporting current participation and growing participation.  The position requires the fostering of relationships between schools, government, volunteers, Rowing Australia and Rowing NSW’s statewide club network to enhance each stakeholder’s capability and capacity to support and implement participation programs and competition opportunities.

This position is full time and the successful candidate will be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends and evenings to deliver key activities and support to our members.

Rowing New South Wales is the peak body of rowing in New South Wales. We are responsible for the management and development of the sport of rowing throughout New South Wales.

• You are highly motivated and organised, possessing strong communication skills who can gain commitment, build trust, and develop partnerships quickly and effectively
• You are a connector and facilitator, with a flexible approach to achieve shared outcomes
• You have a growth mindset; you’re willing to challenge the status quo
• You have experience in developing and delivering learning programs
• You are comfortable presenting to and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders
