Level 2 Coaching Course EOI 

It will be a full day, which will consist of the following, all timings are approximate:

1. Review online Athlete Well-being and Training Methodologies modules (approx. 1 hour)

2. Problem-based learning, Coaching scenarios – discuss in groups of three (1 hour)

3. Micro-coaching (MC) ergo in groups of three, role play coach, rower & observer (1 hour)

4. Problem-solving learning – Rigging review and Assessment practical activity (120 mins)

5. Technical Crew Review – coaches bring footage of a crew they coach (1 hour)

6. Analyse technical stroke – skill observation Assessment (1 hour) 

Attendees will need to bring

• A USB or your computer with video footage of your crew to discuss
• Toolbox for setting up a boat and blades (spanners; height stick; tape measure; screw drivers; pitch gauge)
• We may be outside rigging, so bring suitable clothing
