Sydney Rowing Club continued with their winning ways on Day 3 of Henley Royal Regatta seeing off Royal Chester Rowing Club in the Thames Challenge Cup (Club Men’s Eight).

Lionel Robberds AM QC - New Challenge

Lionel and Sandra have been advised that Lionel is in “post early stages of Alzheimer's Disease”, but will continue to address his future with the same tenacity he has always shown.  We wish both Lionel and Sandra best wishes from the Leichhardt membership and the wider rowing community throughout Australia.

Letters from Gallipoli | Balmain Rowing Club

Shared by Balmain Rowing Club. In memory of our oarsmen who landed at Gallipoli in 1915, we share some of the war time letters and extracts from a diary written by Balmain Rowing Club oarsmen in Gallipoli. Balmain Rowing club had up to eight oarsmen at the Gallipoli peninsula where they wrote about forming the “Dardanelles Eight”.
