Leichhardt Rowing Club | Winter Rowing Program

2023 WINTER ROWING PROGRAM EXPRESSION OF INTEREST  The Leichhardt Rowing Club Winter Program will run from Sunday 28th May to Sunday 13th August. This program will provide on water training that will be announced closer to the start date. The LRC Winter program focuses on improving your rowing skills in the boat and with to develop you as an athlete. The Program will be headed up by LRC Junior Head Coach Isaac Shepherd and will be assisted by LRC coaches. 

Vale - Ken Griffin | Drummoyne Rowing Club

Ken joined Drummoyne Rowing Club in 1997 and was a regular competitor in masters competition until the end of the 2012-2013 season when he retired from racing just shy of his 83rd birthday.  Often spotted with a smile, he always enjoyed his time in the sport and that rubbed off on those around him.  

Vale - Bill Wooldridge | Nepean Rowing Club

Rowing NSW is deeply saddened to advise of the passing of William (Bill) Wooldridge who passed away last Thursday, 2nd of March 2023, one week short of his 78th birthday. Bill commenced his rowing career with Nepean Rowing Club where he was a long time member and coach. He was very well known as a Boat Race Official, along with wife Joy, with both holding FISA Licenses and officiating at local, state, national and international levels.

Vale - Tom Livingstone | The Shore School & Sydney Rowing Club

Rowing NSW is saddened to hear of the passing of Tom Livingstone, in an accident over the weekend. Tom was a down to earth, hardworking oarsman, having rowed, and been Captain of Boats (2020-21), and a senior prefect, at his school, Shore.

Vale - Errol Brazenall | Haberfield RC & Manning River RC

Rowing NSW is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Errol Brazenall, aged 83 years after a long illness. Errol had a successful career as an oarsman with Haberfield Rowing Club, being selected into the NSW King's Cup crew from 1965-1967 and winning the event twice.  He also gained selection into the Australian Men's Eight in 1965 for the Trans Tasman Series against New Zealand. The following year he was selected as a reserve for the Australian Coxed Four at the World Championships in Bled.
