Rowing NSW farewells Owen Nix

Rowing NSW farewells Regatta Operations Manager Owen Nix, who departs after almost 11 years of outstanding service to the rowing community. 

A reliable and trusted presence at Rowing NSW regattas, Owen has been a key contributor to operations. Whether at SIRC, Iron Cove, Taree or beyond, his management of regatta draws and systems has consistently supported the delivery of smooth and professional events.  

Beyond event delivery, Owen has been a repository of historical knowledge and one of the rowing community’s most recognisable sources of advice and support. Countless athletes, clubs and schools have benefited from his willingness to share experience, connect people across the sport and help navigate the many practical aspects of rowing in NSW. His contribution to rowing in NSW has been valued, and he will be missed. 

The NSW rowing community thanks Owen for his dedication and service, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.
