Reminder | 2025 Annual Award Nominations

Nominations are open for the following awards, to be presented at Rowing NSW's Annual Presentation Dinner on Thursday, 12 June 2025 at Watergrill, Sydney Rowing Club:

Novice of the Year - The Association may, at its discretion, make an award “Novice of the Year” to one or more competitors in their first season of competition in Novice classification with the most outstanding record of performance. Clubs wishing to nominate a competitor for such an award must do so in writing listing details of the competitor’s record of wins.

Volunteer of the Year - The Association may, at its discretion, award a suitable award from time to time known as the “The Rowing New South Wales Volunteer(s) of the Year Award” to an individual or individuals who, or club which in the opinion of the Board has given outstanding service to the sport as a volunteer.

The Rusty Robertson MBE Award for Services to Rowing - The Association may from time to time at its discretion confer an award to be known as the "Rusty Robertson MBE Award" to an individual who has, or group of individuals who have, in the opinion of the Board, made a significant and sustained contribution to the endeavours and objects of the Association.

The Kevyn Webb OAM Achievers Award - The Association may, at its discretion, award a suitable award from time to time known as the “The Kevyn Webb OAM Achievers Award” to an individual who, or club which in the opinion of the Board has accomplished major advances in the sport.

The Governor's Cup for Para Rowing - The Association may from time to time at its discretion confer an award to be known as the “Governor’s Cup” to an individual who has, in the opinion of the Board, made a significant and sustained contribution to the sport of Para Rowing in New South Wales.

The President's Award for Para Rowing - The Association may from time to time at its discretion confer an award to be known as the “President’s Cup” to an individual athlete who has, in the opinion of the Board, made an outstanding and inspirational contribution to the sport of Para Rowing in New South Wales in the past year.

The Official of the Year - is awarded to an individual or individuals who have given outstanding service to the sport as a Rowing NSW Official.

Nominations close on Friday, 16 May 2025 at 5pm AEST.
