Fitzy Flies Past Previous Record

Congratulations to Peter FitzSimons who yesterday, live on Sports Sunday on Channel 9, scored a time of 1.23.6 over 500m and in turn broke the Australian record for 55-59 HWT men and won a Gold medal at #AIRC17!

Peter was also kind enough to present Alice Arch (of the 2017 Australian Rowing Team and current National Training Centre athlete) with her world record certificate after she broke the 500m record for lightweight women aged between 19-29 years old at the event! Rowing truly is a sport for all! #indoorrowing #AIRC17

Fitzy also competed at the New South Wales Indoor Rowing Championships taking out the 1 minute RIP event.
