Draft Regatta Calendar and Regatta Forums | 2025/26 Season

Rowing NSW is pleased to present the draft regatta calendar for the 2025-26 season. The proposed orders of events to be run at each regatta will be published prior to the Regatta Forums.

Changes for 2025-26

This year’s calendar features some significant enhancements:

Schools Term 4 pre-holiday crescendo

- RNSW All Schools Regatta

- RNSW/ School Sprint Champs/ State Sprint Champs

- - 2nd opportunity for school sprint racing in addition to ARC

Return of the RNSW Sprint Eliminator in Head of the River Lunch breaks, now with:

- Larger prize money on offer

- Downloadable playlists, new camera angles, Eliminator meet & greet/signing.

Spring Time Attack - Debut

- Similar to the highly successful time-based progression format used at All Schools Regatta but now open to Club, HP & Masters athletes.

UniActive Games Indoor / Hyrox

- Indoor rowing multisport event

More club events at Rowing NSW regattas

- By popular demand, we’re thrilled to offer more opportunities for club-level athletes to race competitively. This is a great opportunity for non-HP school leavers and club athletes to remain connected with the sport.

Gotcha 4 Life 24 Row HQ return

Other Changes:

Small Boats Regatta

- Date change away from the Australia Day long weekend

NSW State Championships

- Date change to later in February

Community feedback is important to Rowing NSW. The Club Regatta Forum (Thursday, 24 July 2025) and School Regatta Forum (Thursday, 31 July 2025) are your chance to provide feedback on calendars and events. 

Please note that these events are held virtually via Microsoft Teams. They are only open to Club presidents/captains, School program heads, Club + School coaches, and Club + School delegates. Registration is essential.
