2026 Senior, U23 & U19 Australian Rowing Teams | Congratulations, NSW athletes!

Following a bumper selection period at SIRC, Rowing Australia has announced the Senior, Under 23 and Under 19 Australian Rowing Teams set to represent the country across the 2026 international season.

Rowing NSW congratulates the 29 athletes selected from NSW and NSW clubs. Our state is the most-represented in the Senior Team and equal-most-represented in the U19 Team - an impressive achievement.

These athletes' selection is a testament to their amazing efforts, and a showcase of the talent on display across the Rowing NSW season. These squads feature NSW champions, interstate champions, Small Boats and Reindeer Regatta winners, former Junior Pathway Team representatives, and six 2026 Sprint Eliminator athletes (including both champions).

Rowing NSW also congratulates NSW coaches Hally Chapman (U23 Women's Sweep), Tim McLaren (UTS Haberfield - U23 Women's Sweep) and Alan Bennett (SUBC - U19 Women's Quad) on their selection with these teams.

 


 

The Senior athletes will represent Australia at the World Rowing Cup series in Seville, Plovdiv and Lucerne, before selection of the final team to compete at the 2026 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from August 24-30.

The Under 23 team will compete at the 2026 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Duisburg, Germany, from July 23-26, while the Under 19 team will represent Australia at the 2026 World Rowing Under 19 Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from August 6-9.
