You are invited to attend the inaugural Rowfest at Grafton on the Clarence River from May 31 to June 2, 2024.
The festival consists of a meet and greet on Friday, a wooden boat day on Saturday and the annual two island row on the Sunday.
The NSW Union of Rowers awards scholarships to young rowers who display potential and
are in need of financial assistance to achieve their goals in rowing. This year at least five
awards of $1,000 will be made if there are sufficient applications of an appropriate standard.
Any young rower or coxswain aged from 14 to 19 years at 31st December this year is eligible
to apply, provided they are currently registered as a Competing Member of Rowing NSW
Sadly we report the passing of John Hudson last Saturday 16 March 2024. John was a Life Member of Leichhardt Rowing Club and an Olympian. John, with his wife Jenn, had only recently attended the special Morning Tea at the club for Club Patron and great mate Lionel Robberds. John has been living on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Rowing NSW is pleased to announce the confirmation of the 2024 NSW State Team that is set to compete at the Interstate Regatta tomorrow at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith.
The following athletes have been selected in the NSW Junior Pathways Squad, from which a team will be selected to compete at the Junior Pathways Regatta.

ndeavour Rowing Club are hosting their Annual Regatta on the picturesque Hunter in February 2024. It is a colourful and exciting event showcasing the Hunter River and our rowing culture. It is a family friendly, inclusive activity catering from Juniors to masters which nurtures a culture of health, well being, and community spirit. With the historic town of Morpeth only minutes away you can come and make a day of it. Everyone is welcome to watch the action on the water.
Congratulations to Shirley Stokes, formerly of Sydney University Boat Club and now of Lower Clarence Amateur Rowing Club on being awarded with a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2024 Australia Day honours list. Shirley was recognised for "significant service to rowing, and to people with disability".
