CONTACTING THE ORGANISERS
All contact from Thursday 8th October should be made through the Regatta Office, Ground Floor of the Finish Tower at the venue.
The wmg@rowingnsw.asn.au email will be monitored throughout the regatta but is for non-urgent enquiries only.
ALL SCRATCHINGS & CREW CHANGES MUST BE MADE AT THE REGATTA OFFICE FROM THURSDAY.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Games Guide, included in your accreditation pack, will provide
you with details of transport arrangements. Information can also be
found on the SWMGOC website.
Shuttle buses from Penrith Railway Station to the venue will operate at
15 minute intervals commencing 2 hours prior to start of racing each
day, i.e, 5.30 am and continue until 1 hour after completion of racing
each day.
ACCREDITATION
It is most important that you collect your accreditation and Games pack
from the Games Centre at Olympic Park, Homebush. See the SWMGOC
website for details. There will be no accreditation facility at the
Regatta Centre.
Not only does your accreditation confirm your eligibility to compete, it
also provides you with access to a wide variety of opportunities and
benefits, including access to the Opening and Closing ceremonies - but
more importantly - you'll need it as identification when you come to
pick all those medals you're going to win!
ON YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE REGATTA CENTRE
CAR PARKING:
Access to the venue and car parking is free to everyone. ALL car
parking will be situated on the southern side of the course - NO EXCEPTIONS - Entry via Gate B.
Shuttle buses operate from the parking
areas to the island throughout each day - also free of charge.
Heavy goods transport - A transport service is available to those who require to transport large items to the island.
TRAILERS:
trailer drivers should enter the venue via Gate A and accept the direction of venue staff and organising committee volunteers.
All trailers will be tagged with identification numbers and contact
details. Those trailers with accredited island parking will be
directed to their location. Trailers who have no accredited island
parking will be permitted to unload their boats and store the trailer in
P6, as directed by staff, for the duration of the regatta. Please note
that P6 is within the security area of the venue.
No trailer access or vehicle access will be granted access to the boat park to unload your trailers before 2pm on Wednesday 7th October.
Trailer drivers expecting to arrive at the venue after sunset and before
9.00 pm EDST on Wednesday, 7 October should contact the security officer
approx 30 minutes prior to ETA to arrange for the gate to be opened,
i.e, the gate will not be opened after 9 pm on Wednesday.
Trailer drivers expecting to arrive at the venue after sunset on
Thursday, 8 October or Friday, 9 October should contact the security
officer approx 30 minutes prior to ETA to arrange for the gate to be
opened, i.e, the security guard will be present overnight.

Trailers arriving late will be required to park as directed by security,
retrieve the trailer next morning and proceed to their appointed parking
location on the island.

CLUB TENT SITE ALLOCATIONS
All tents are to be located on the hill beyond the access road: 1800m mark. There are no club tents on the hill by the Grandstand.
Tent sites will be marked/sign posted. There are 2 rows of tents on the northern bank.
There are a handful of clubs setting up their tent on the southern bank as indicated in the document below.
There will be white marks painted onto the grass throughout the venue - these indicate irrigation lines.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR TENT PEGS ANYWHERE NEAR THE WHITE LINES - OR WE'LL SPRING A LEAK!!
