The 2007 Australian Masters Rowing Championships will take place on 1-3 June - when men and women from around Australian and beyond will gather at Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith to battle it out on the water for the prestige of a National Championship medal.

This year Australian Master's Rowing Championships is not all about the action on the water, however. On Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June, Sally Street [www.sallystreet.com] jazz band will entertain rowers, their family and friends at the Spectator Pavilion at lunch time and from 5pm in the afternoon.

Sally Street is a uniquely entertaining jazz and blues artist emerging from the Sydney jazz scene. With a stop in your tracks and listen presence, Sally's charisma, vibrantly vivacious voice and captivating style are packaged to storm the world of jazz.

What better way to spend an afternoon in June than sitting by world renowned competition lake, watching your family, friends or team members battle it out in the premier Master's rowing event, with the smooth sounds of a jazz band in the background and refreshments only a few meters away.

Most rowers family and friends don't get to feel part of a rowers 'other life' on the water but with some music, drinks and good food, this year can be the first year that your family and friends can enjoy your hobby that so often consumes you.

Bistro style lunch and dinner will be served at the Spectators pavilion for all competitors and their support team to celebrate or commiserate on the events of the day.

This year bring your friends and family along to your competition highlight of the year.
