The 2005 DHL Australian Rowing Championship regatta is the definitive event in the Australian
rowing calendar, this year featured almost 2,000 athletes, more than 1,200 crews and scullers from over
150 clubs and schools across the country, who raced in more than 80 events throughout a week of
exciting competition. The action culminated on Sunday with the historic Kings Cup for men's eights,
which was won by Western Australia, with Victoria winning the Interstate Womens Eight for the Queen Elizabeth II Trophy.
