The Uralla Historical Society is currently redesigning their exhibition Trickett's Triumph - a tribute to rower Ned Trickett, who was visiting his son in Uralla in 1916 and died in an accident and is buried there.
The historical society is desperate to locate a pair of oars once owned by Ned which were given to a rowing club by two of Ned's daughters when they sold their house in North Sydney. The obvious club would be North Shore Rowing Club but, if so, NSRC has no record of it, or a likely pair of oars.
Can any club or rower throw any light on this?
