Dear NSW Rowing Members and Supporters,
Rowing NSW has established an
Honours System to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions of exceptional people involved in the sport of rowing in New South Wales. The System recognises those people whose actions and commitment over a period of time are above and beyond what could be reasonably expected and who have made a significant difference by virtue of their contribution.
Rowing NSW is now seeking nominations from the NSW rowing community for the following awards. Nominations are due by Friday 31st May 2013 and must be submitted on the appropriate
nomination form.
Rusty Robertson MBE Award
to an individual or club making significant and sustained contribution to the endeavours and objects of the Association
Kevyn Webb OAM Award
to an individual or club accomplishing major advances in the sport
Volunteer of the Year Award
to an individual/s giving outstanding service to the sport as a volunteer
Novice of the Year Award
to a competitor who in their first season of competition have achieved an outstanding record of performance.
The above awards are available to be presented at the Club or schools Presentation Dinners if they so wish.
