MEMBER (AM) IN THE GENERAL DIVISION OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA; For service to the judiciary and to the law as a contributor to mental health reform, to the administration of criminal justice, and to the international community.
Formerly a Queen’s Counsel practicing throughout Australia and overseas, Greg James has been a Judge of the New South Wales Supreme Court sitting in the Common Law Division and the Court of Criminal Appeal and a South Australian Royal Commissioner. He is currently President of the NSW Mental Health Review Tribunal, Adjunct Professor at the School of Law Southern Cross University and Visiting Professor and Chair of the Curriculum Committee at the Law School University of Western Sydney. Greg has had a longstanding involvement with the Balmain Rowing Club over the past 10 years and is a level 2 Boat Race Official having officiated at both the NSW Regattas and the JB Sharpe Regattas. He is also former President of the Union of Rowers and is a former Director of Rowing NSW.

Mr Barry William MOYNAHAN
MEDAL (OAM) OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA IN THE GENERAL DIVISION; for service to the sport of rowing in New South Wales.
Barry Moynahan joined Leichardt Rowing in 1959 and since has rowed, coached and served on the clubs committee with distinction. Barry’s competition rowing in the early 1960s culminated in his nomination for the state squad.
As a coach and ambassador for Rowing Barry has introduced countless young men and women to the sport of rowing, both through talent identification as well as the promotion of the sport through his infectious enthusiasm and passion for the sport.
As a volunteer, Barry has served on the committee for Leichhardt Rowing club since the early sixties almost continuously. Across his time he has held the positions of President, Club Captain, and is currently the Vice President and also has been awarded with a Life Membership of Leichardt Rowing Club.
Barry has also served on the Associations Board previously is currently a Vice President and was bestowed Life Membership of the association in September 2010. Barry is also renowned across rowing for his commentary which is entertaining and informative. Barry was able to provide commentary during the 2000 Olympics at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
