Rowing NSW is pleased to provide the opportunity for talented school aged rowers to meet and train with some of NSW top athletes; Matt Ryan, Dan Noonan and Tess Gerrand.
Matt, from Sydney University Boat Club, 4 time member of the victorious NSW Kings Cup Eight from 2008-2011, member of the Australian Men's Four that won a silver medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2009 World Championships, bronze medallist in the Australian Men's Eight at the 2010 World Championships
Dan, from Mosman Rowing Club, 3 time member of the NSW Kings Cup Eight from 2009-2011, winner of the Presidents Cup Men's Single in 2008, stroke of the world record holding Men's Quad from 2008 Beijing Olympics, silver medallist in the Men's Quad at the 2009 World Championships and bronze medallist in the Men's Quad at the 2010 World Championships
Tess, a Sydney Rowing Club rower formally from Manning River Rowing Club in Taree, two time US Ivy League Division 1 champion with Yale and member of the NSW Queen's Cup squad
Find out first hand what it took for these athletes to get where they are, and they will give you a few pointers to help you on your way.
The program will include both on and off water coaching and development with the above athletes, as well as some of NSW's top club coaches for 2.5 days during the September/October school holidays.
Numbers are limited therefore not every application may be accepted. All participants must be current members of RNSW.
