What is the RNSW Membership Program?

RNSW membership has traditionally been aligned to ones right to compete in regattas. The challenge for Rowing NSW is to convert our considerable supporter base into loyal members to demonstrate how many people, elite, social, school, club, young or old, are connected to our wonderful sport. By ‘converting’ our burgeoning supporter base into members we will be able to build upon and grow our existing development programs, attract high end sponsors and actively compete against other sports .

We believe that if you presently row, did row, follow rowing, or even know a rower or you deserve to be a member!

Renewed Efforts
Last year over 4,200 passionate rowers and supporters put their money where their hearts are and jumped on board with a RNSW membership. In 2011/12 we want to show the entire rowing world just how big the Rowing NSW family is. That’s why we’re calling on you to help us push towards 6,000 STRONG members this season. Additional to our competitive membership categories we are promoting two new membership categories – supporters and recreational. When you buy any membership you are directly contributing to the growth and strength of the rowing in New South Wales and help us continue grow this magnificent sport of ours!

What is in the NSW Membership Pack?

A NSW Membership Pack is confined to the size of a DL envelope. In the envelope members will receive:

·         Welcome letter
·         Membership Card that will give you access to the new member benefits scheme
·         RNSW inscribed oar-shaped key ring
·         Regatta Calendar with key contact details and dates
·         Promotional flyer introducing our new non-competitive membership categories and incentive promotion for clubs and schools to win some great prizes for their program

Your Club or School can Win!

The more recreational and supporting members clubs and schools introduce this season, the more chances they will have to win some much needed equipment. The club or school with the most number of recreational and supporting members at the end of the season wins some fantastic prizes.

The Member Benefits Scheme

The Rowing NSW member benefits scheme aims to offer great discounts on our sponsors products and services to all our members. Lakeside Restaurant, at the Sydney International Regatta Centre is a proud supporter of Rowing New South Wales and on display of your membership card you will receive 10% off all food and beverage purchases at the kiosk and restaurant.

More member benefits will be announced each month throughout the season.
