New South Wales Rowing and NSWIS are seeking to encourage Junior Rowers and Coaches in NSW to form Junior crews to enter the 2007 National Selection Regatta at SIRC in April 2007.

Crews successful in selection will compete for Australia at the World Junior Championships which will be held on the new Olympic Rowing Course in Beijing from 8th – 11th August 2007.

Juniors from development programs in other states are already preparing for this selection event. If NSW crews are to be competitive we; rowers, coaches and administrators must be planning, making up crews and training now.

We have a fantastic network of coaches in NSW backed by clubs and rowing systems that will give our competitors an excellent chance of success.

The NSWRA and NSWIS with co-operation of clubs have formed a JUNIOR COACHING NETWORK. This network of coaches and clubs developing junior rowers welcome you to contact them to join their crews or form new crews for the selection regatta.

Junior competition including National Junior Teams and Youth Cup competition is an excellent and proven pathway to develop your rowing excellence.
