For many years we have missed the mark when it comes to educating and passing on valuable knowledge to our coaches. For the past 18 months we have dabbled in committing more time and resources to education – primarily coach education, however is this really enough??

Membership Growth. Why?

In the past, membership of Rowing NSW has been primarily linked to one right to compete in regattas. But what about the people who don’t want to compete. Is there a place for non-competitive members and supporters to contribute to our sport and how actively should we seek them out to join?
Major sporting codes in Australia have embraced tribal marketing and membership growth strategies, but is this relevant or even achievable for rowing?
